it started as a personal dream of getting pledges for good deeds. it continues now as inspiring acts that we hear about to help others in their own hopes ... no matter how big or small the deed ... or the dream.

Vir deed: What love can do

My first good deed!! Be a cupid messenger. And it has something to do with Holland : ) i love coinkidinkies.

Vir is my friend. In college, we teased each other about how we became progressively chummier through the years. Now we are members of the coined "what love can do" club (long distance lovers unite!).

Vir "the changed man".

His deed was basically to make me his cupid delivery person since he's in the US. I would have to buy 2 shawarmas and one yellow tulip for his fiancee, Mia, and bring it to her at the school she teaches in. I bantered with vir saying that I kind of hoped the deeds wouldn't require me to spend more than the actual donation but he's reimbursing everything... so there you go! Aloy the messenger, I have become.

Bought 2 shawarmas, one yellow tulip (from Holland tulips... and yes, they have a painted cow in their store), navigated my way through the semi-chaotic roads of Makati and surprise delivered Mia. Turns out, Mia hates yellow tulips... haha. A lover's joke which I will not get into. I've done my good deed. And i played cupid. There's only love...
